PADI Speciality Instructor

What are the pre-requisites?

Renewed PADI Assistant Instructor, PADI Instructor or have completed an IDC or Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) program within the past 12 month.

How Do I become a Specialty instructor?

I offer Specialty courses in all PADI Specialties (except ice…). Single Specialties or Multiple Specialties, whichever you prefer. The courses are normally conducted together with MSDT training. So if you are already an MSDT and you want to add another Specialty, contact me!

What will I do?

You will be required to present a teaching presentation from each relevant course; you will also be required to complete all performance requirements from the dives of each specialty.

What will I need?

PADI Specialty Instructor guide

The necessary equipment to fulfill performance objectives of every dive –e.g. a Drysuit for Drysuit specialty, Lights for night diving and cameras for DUP.

How long will it take?

The courses can normally be completed in 1-3 days; no more than 3 training dives per day will be done. Please note that some courses require more dives and have different pre-requisites.

Become an MSDT!

A Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) can train any student up to Master Scuba Diver!

To qualify as an MSDT you must:

– Be qualified to teach 5 specialities.

– Must have certified at least 25 divers.

Do all 5 specialities now and apply for the certificate later!
